Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the sales effort of the branch operation
- Identify/create new sales initiatives and execute sales strategies
- Set sales goals, monitor performance and advance strategies
- Develop sales team to create aggressive current customer strategies
- Build new sales channels with current and chosen customer strategies
- Oversee operational initiatives to accomplish sales goals
- Oversee reactionary inside sales activities supporting central order entry from Fortune 500 National Accounts
- Manage outbound telesales efforts and create aggressive initiatives
- Work with Company divisions to coordinate sales activities/initiatives for common gain
Job Requirements:
- Four to eight years managing inside sales and outgoing telesales initiatives with preference related to electrical distribution
- Strong background and track record in managing creative sales initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in creating new or significantly advancing sales channels
- Past experience in managing a sales team of direct reports involved in sales and operations related to a sales organization
- Strong background in sales channel development, working with suppliers and creating sales programs, inventive plans and experience in training a sales force.
- Strong, demonstrated team building and cross functional department skills
- Strong sales skills, able to coach and mentor a growing sales team
