Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated outside sales representative to be responsible for sales growth to Industrial Accounts in the Chicago and NW Indiana markets. Electrical and/or Industrial Automation sales experience a plus. High energy drive and an excellent customer service attitude is a must in fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities for Electrical and Automation Products in new and existing accounts in Industrial/OEM markets.
- Sell electrical/automation products by establishing contact and developing relationships with all of the buying influences at respective customers.
- Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance; and researching and recommending new opportunities.
- Work closely with manufacturers (including Rockwell Automation) to identify new and profitable business.
- Identify and communicate product improvements or new product applications by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competition.
- Communicate effectively with inside sales personnel on quotes, new opportunities, and existing business.
- Prepare reports as required by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
